Andrew coming through the kissing gate - yes we did share a kiss (yuk I hear Claire say). These gates, as well as styles, are found on public footpaths, along boundary lines, in hedgerows etc, allowing the general public the right of way, across fields, farms, private land and public land. Public right of way, is very British, dearly-held and ferociously protected.
